Labor Finders in Vallejo is immediately looking to hire an experienced YARD INSPECTOR for an opening at a METAL SCRAP YARD in the Vallejo area. .
Position: Yard Inspector
Forklift Experience: Required
Pay: $21/Hour
Location: Vallejo
Start Date: ASAP
Days: Mon-Fri (Some OT Saturdays)
Job Overview: Will inspect loads of scrap to determine the quality and type of metal. Utilize a forklift to load and unload materials. Direct traffic and interact with customers and other related duties.
Requirements:
Minimum 18 years of age to apply.
Previous forklift operating experience.
Read, write, and communicate effectively in English and Spanish
Understand basic math to do sums and keep records
Must be physically capable of performing the position, including but not limited to lifting 75 lbs. or more.
Ability to stand and walk for 8-10 hours per day 5-6 days per week.
Ability to perform the duties above, as well as other related tasks.
