Position Summary:
The Pool Cleaning Technician is responsible for providing professional pool maintenance services to residential and commercial clients. This includes routine cleaning, chemical balancing, inspecting equipment, and reporting any service concerns. The technician plays a key role in ensuring water safety, customer satisfaction, and maintaining the reputation of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and vacuum pools, brush walls, empty baskets, skim debris, and check equipment during each visit.
Test and adjust pool chemistry, including chlorine, pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, and stabilizer levels as required.
Use company-provided tools and apps (e.g., Skimmer) to document visit notes, chemical readings, photos, and any follow-up needs.
Check for leaks, broken equipment, and other service issues and report them to the office immediately.
Add chemicals as needed and record all inventory taken from the shop.
Maintain a consistent service schedule and complete assigned pools on time.
Communicate clearly with the office about any access issues, delays, or client concerns.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance of service vehicles and personal uniform.
Educate customers when needed on proper pool care or follow-up actions, while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude.
Ensure all work meets the company’s quality standards and promotes customer retention.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Basic understanding of pool chemistry and cleaning procedures (training provided)
Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to follow procedures and report concerns professionally
