Looking for a job within the craft beer industry? Del Cielo Brewing is hiring for this newly created position. We are a small, independent, Latino owned brewery in Martinez. While this will initially be a part time position, we are hoping to be able to expand this to a full time in the future.
Draft Tech (Part Time)
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain permanent handle lines by:
Cleanings at regular intervals
Troubleshooting issues
Repairing lines/faucets/couplers
- Deliver a memorable experience to all of our accounts by:
Having a friendly and helpful attitude
Communicating between account and sales team
- Plan and map routes, taking traffic and receiving/operation hours into account
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and alert management of any issues
- Cover delivery routes as needed
- Share your passion and enthusiasm for beer in a way that is accessible and friendly, from the experienced beer drinker to the newbie
- Potential additional hours available to work with production cleaning kegs, canning, kegging and other cellar work

- Good at communicating and following written/verbal instructions

- This is a physically demanding job. You must be able to:
Handle kegs and cases of beer using a dolly
Maneuver 160 pounds (1/2 barrel kegs)
Perform repetitive motions of pulling, pushing, lifting, etc.
Must possess a valid driver's license and be at least 21 years of age
Have a clean driving record
Only highly self-motivated, organized, dedicated, independent individuals need apply
Beer industry/warehouse/delivery experience is a PLUS
Compensation:
- $22/hr (based on experience)
