Under the supervision of the Facilities Supervisor or designee, the part-time Maintenance Worker is responsible for assigned duties in the maintenance/upkeep of the Aldea agency locations.

Essential Duties:

1. Timely response to requests by Facilities Supervisor.

2. Assist with routine maintenance such as: painting/patching walls, minor repairs and upkeep of all agency properties internally and externally. Informing supervisor of extraordinary events and conditions affecting properties.

3. Assist with moving furniture and household items within facilities and between Napa, Solano and Sonoma Counties.

4. Safe operation of power tools.

5. Light maintenance of Aldea vehicles.

6. Other duties as directed.

7. General knowledge and awareness of the agency PQI goals for your position.

Qualifications:

1. Flexible work schedule, part-time and minimal on-call for emergent issues.

2. Skills in plumbing and electrical work and other routine maintenance a plus.

3. Ability to perform routine, repetitive, and/or physical tasks.

4. Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

5. Ability to work alone and be self-motivated.

6. Knowledge of and ability to practice standard safety techniques.

7. Must have an understanding of and be sensitive and responsive to serving culturally diverse populations.

8. Commitment to the mission, values and goals of the agency.

9. Must own/have access to a pickup truck for hauling and moving.

10. Fingerprint background clearance, medical clearance and clear DMV driving record with current auto insurance required.
