Hello job seekers! We are a cute little laundromat in the Inner Richmond seeking a part time attendant.
Our ideal candidate is reliable, proactive, detail oriented, and has great customer service skills. No previous laundromat experience requiredwe will provide comprehensive training on laundromat operations.
After the training period, here's what you can expect:
-The position mostly entails doing laundry and cleaning. A large portion of our business is our wash & fold service. You will be washing, drying, and folding customers' laundry and keeping the laundromat clean. This involves wiping down the machines, cleaning the lint traps, cleaning the bathroom, sweeping/mopping, etc.
-You will be working by yourself during shifts, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable working without direct supervision.
-Customer service is important to us. Having a friendly attendant who enjoys interacting with people is key! The customers at our laundromat are overall very nice and you will get to know the regulars.
-While not a stressful job, the laundromat can get busy. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast paced environment where there are multiple tasks that need to get done.
We are seeking coverage for the following shifts:
Sundays 8:00am-1:15pm
Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays 8:00am-1:30pm
Tuesdays OR Thursdays 8:00am-1:00pm
Pay is $18.07/hr + tips ($1-$2 per hour).
