SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
Under supervision, the Irrigation Tech provides support to the Golf Course Maintenance department. This position is responsible for operating, servicing, and repairing the various components of a complex irrigation system. The Irrigation Specialist will also perform general golf course maintenance tasks as required. This position assists the Golf Course Superintendent in the successful growth and operations of Las Positas Golf Course.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Operate, maintain, and repair the components of a complex irrigation system, including, but not limited to:
- Distribution lines, valves, risers, and sprinkler heads.
- Quick coupler valves.
- Control lines, satellite, and central controllers.
- Pumping stations.
COMPENSATION-BENEFITS: $55,000-$62,400 per year
$25-$30 per hour (depending on experience)
Full Time positions include eligibility for participation in company benefits plans including a company contribution to health insurance.
