Well established San Francisco family in need of a daily housekeeper. Household consists of an active senior couple and their beloved dog. Our current housekeeper is retiring after 30 years of service and we are looking for someone to continue in her place.
This position is a guaranteed 30 hours/week. Monday through Thursday. We anticipate that once a routine has been established, the workload may be completed in about 24 hours (6 hours daily). We are okay with the housekeeper leaving early as long as all the tasks have been completed. Possibility of position expanding to full time in the future.
Duties include daily tidying up of kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, offices. Laundry to include washing, folding, and ironing. Interfacing with repairmen & contractors. Receiving deliveries. Keeping everything neat and well organized. Occasionally feeding and/or walking the dog. There is another housekeeper who comes in on Fridays & Saturdays and does much the the heavy cleaning.
Ideal applicant would be familiar with working in a high end home. Looking for someone who is detail oriented, very very organized, and dependable. Also hoping that this will be a long term commitment.
English speaking is a must, but bi-lingual with Spanish would be extremely helpful.
This is a year round position, with paid holiday and vacation time. Additional benefits once you have completed one year of service.
