Mill Valley Pasta Co. is hiring a part-time E-commerce Fulfillment Associate at their location in San Rafael. This part time position is 2-3 days per week, and may be able to grow to 5 days per week during the holiday season if the associate wants those hours. Shifts typically range from 4 hours to 8 hours, depending on volume of orders.
The primary function of the Ecomm Fulfillment Associate is to download and print orders placed on our website, select and pick items as ordered, prepare and pack them for shipping in needed materials, and apply proper shipping labels onto packaging to have them shipped. During peak seasons, the Ecomm Fulfillment Associate will also be asked to build gift baskets for general sale in our stores and farmers markets as there is time.
Training for the position will take place over 3-5 shifts which will need to be worked mid morning until early afternoon. After training, there is some flexibility for the associate on timing, and the position may be a great option for a parent who has children in school, a college student who has a varying class schedule, or others who might have a different primary job.
Candidates will possess strong computer skills with an understanding of the internet, word processing, and experience with ecommerce platforms such as Squarespace, Shopify, or Shippo being a plus.
Shifts are worked standing up and moving, and there is little to no sitting during their shift.
Applicants should speak fluent and conversational English, and being bilingual is a huge plus. You must be a legal citizen or have working papers for this position.
Starting pay for this position is $22/hour. All Mill Valley Pasta Co. employees are given a weekly pasta allowance, and may be eligible for a Public Transportation Stipend, Bridge Toll Stipend, or non-vehicular transport Stipend depending on their travel to/from work.
