Golden Castle ADHC is looking for a Janitor!
The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the Adult Day Health Care center. This position ensures all areas of the facility, including program spaces, offices, restrooms, dining areas, and common areas, are cleaned and maintained to support the health and well-being of participants, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Clean and sanitize restrooms, dining areas, program rooms, offices, and hallways daily.
2. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all assigned areas.
3. Collect, empty, and dispose of trash and recycling in proper containers.
4. Maintain cleanliness and safety in participant areas, including wiping tables, sanitizing chairs, and ensuring spills are promptly cleaned.
5. Refill restroom and facility supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, hand sanitizer).
6. Assist in cleaning kitchen/dining areas, including floors, counters, and trash removal.
7. Ensure high-touch surfaces (doorknobs, handrails, light switches, etc.) are regularly disinfected.
8. Report any maintenance issues (plumbing, electrical, facility damage) to supervisor.
9. Maintain janitorial supplies and notify supervisor when replenishment is needed.
10. Assist with event or program setup and cleanup as requested.
-Prior janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience (healthcare setting preferred).
