We are looking for three hands-on, experienced apartment maintenance technicians for our San Bruno community. Our goal is to have these positions filled by Monday, June 23 with start dates in early July, if not sooner.

The process will be one telephone interview, one on-site interview (in Hayward) with the property manager and a final in person interview at the corporate office (Walnut Creek) with the Regional Manager.
Total compensation will depend on experience, starting around $5,250.00 per month, which will include onsite housing. After probation period, benefit packages are available for medical, dental and vision. First year employees will receive up to 17 days off, including holidays.

Apartment Maintenance Worker Responsibilities & Duties:
Conduct routine inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs
Perform plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks and unclogging drains
Carry out electrical repairs including replacing light fixtures and troubleshooting wiring issues
Maintain HVAC systems and conduct necessary repairs or replacements
Repair and paint walls, ceilings, and doors
Install and repair appliances
Perform carpentry tasks including repairing floors, doors, and cabinets
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests
Collaborate with property management and other team members to plan maintenance work
Oversee and manage contractors for specialized repair work
Maintain landscaping and grounds as needed
Provide excellent customer service to residents
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
Apartment Maintenance Worker Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience in maintenance or a related field (must have)
Certification in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work (preferred)
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
Ability to use hand and power tools. Own all necessary tools
Strong problem-solving skills
