A skilled laborer will often perform tasks such as dust control, pipe install, minor concrete finishing, grouting, patch paving, and trench grade checking. We are very focused on having a team member with a great attitude and strong work ethic.
If you're a local laborer who's tired of travelling around the state for work, this role is for you. We primarily work in the Alameda, Contra Costa, and Solano Counties.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to dig, bend over, climb ladders, and lift over 100lbs regularly
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong work ethic
- Basic grasp of the English language
- Driver’s license & vehicle to travel to different job sites throughout East Bay & North Bay.
BONUS POINTS:
- Past construction experience
- Ability to drive smaller water trucks for grading work (manual transmission)
DAILY TASKS COULD INCLUDE:
- Hand trenching & potholing existing underground utilities
- Installing underground water, storm, sewer, and conduit
- Setting up and using a laser level
- Greasing and maintain fluid levels in machines
- Installing temporary trench shoring
- Picking up trash/roots/debris
- Raking asphalt
- Traffic control setup & flagging
- Pouring concrete for structures or flatwork
- Working in confines spaces
- Using power tools and small equipment
