About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Architectural Finish Carpenter with a proven background in high-end residential construction. This role is critical to delivering the precision, craftsmanship, and detail our clients expect in luxury homes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly skilled with fine woodworking and custom millwork, and able to interpret complex architectural drawings to bring design intent to life.

Key Responsibilities
Perform high-precision finish carpentry including installation of custom millwork, doors, windows, trim, wainscoting, cabinetry, wall/ceiling paneling, and other architectural details.
Read and interpret architectural plans, shop drawings, and specifications to ensure flawless execution of design details.
Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to maintain design intent and quality control.
Ensure installations meet luxury residential standards for fit, finish, and alignment.
Operate and maintain a wide range of woodworking tools and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient use.
Perform layout, measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling with extreme attention to accuracy.
Conduct on-site adjustments and modifications to accommodate field conditions while preserving design intent.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment on high-end job sites.
Mentor apprentices or less-experienced carpenters on best practices and fine craftsmanship.

Qualifications
5+ years experience in finish carpentry, preferably within high-end residential construction.
Mastery in custom woodworking, cabinetry, and architectural millwork installation.
Strong knowledge of hardwoods, veneers, laminates, and specialty materials.
Ability to execute precise joinery, miters, reveals, and alignments at a luxury standard.
Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and shop drawings.
Strong problem-solving skills with ability to adapt details in the field.
Familiarity with green building practices and high-performance home standards (a plus in the San Francisco market).
OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.
