Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Temp HR Clerk to support our Human Resources department's daily operations. The HR Clerk will be responsible for maintaining employee records, assisting with payroll preparation, coordinating recruitment activities, and providing general administrative support to ensure the efficient functioning of the HR department.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, attendance, and leave balances.
Recruitment Support: Assist in posting job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating communication with candidates.
Onboarding Assistance: Prepare onboarding materials, coordinate new hire orientations, and ensure completion of required documentation.
Payroll Preparation: Assist in collecting and verifying timesheets, preparing payroll data, and ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.
Compliance: Ensure all HR activities comply with company policies and legal regulations, maintaining confidentiality and data protection standards.
Employee Inquiries: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other related matters.
Administrative Support: Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and managing correspondence.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in an HR administrative role is advantageous but not required.
Skills:
o Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
o Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
o Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
o Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Knowledge: Basic understanding of HR principles and labor legislation is a plus.

Working Conditions:
This position is based in our Morgan Hill office.
Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods.
