Human Resources Intern

We are seeking an HR Intern to join a client in Fremont. The role is a good opportunity for someone pursuing an HR Degree or to gain further HR experience. The client offers a strong growth path from this role. It is a temp-to-hire position. The client offers strong benefits, profit sharing and bonuses if hired full-time. Hours for the role are Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm.The HR Intern will be responsible for the following job duties.Administration support for our EDD Workshare Program.Administration of all State of CA EDD claims.Assisting in the planning of company events for the company Wellness Program.Administrative support for the Walters & Wolf Anniversary Award Program.Administration support for our HRIS system, uploading documents to maintain a paperless environment.Human Resources support for employee questions, HRIS support.Partner with the HR team on special projects.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in human resource management or studying toward a degree in human resource management or related field.Proven experience working in an office environment.Working knowledge of U.S. labor laws.Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software is advantageous.Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.The ability to work as part of a team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent administrative and organizational skills.Effective communication skills.Detail-oriented.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard torace, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.We consider all qualified applicants, including those with criminal histories, in a manner consistent with state and local laws, including the City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance.
