Hello! We are an established one Doctor private general dentistry practice (no HMO/Dentical) with state-of-the-art technology. We have a beautiful office with a small team that enjoys working with each other. Our dental office is very organized and we are located near DeAnza Blvd and Hwy 85.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate dental hygienist to join our dental office. No nights or weekends. Only (8) patients per day, one hour per patient, and no double booking. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings, provide preventive care, and educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices. Our ideal team member is reliable has a positive attitude and easily develops rapport with their patients, and has a gentle hand. This position is one to three days a week. Days are negotiable. Our hours are Monday thru Thursday 7:45am to 5pm. We are closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Compensation, bonuses and benefits are based on experience. $65-$75hr.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Perform dental cleanings to remove plaque and tartar.

-Identify conditions like caries, gingivitis or periodontitis.

-All aspects of hygiene including scaling and root planing.

-Administration of local anesthesia, soft tissue curretage, and nitrous oxide.

-Conduct thorough oral examinations to identify any signs of oral diseases or abnormalities.

-Take digital x-rays including FMX.

-Apply fluoride treatments and sealants.

-Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for at-home care.

-Cleaning/prepping operatories and sterilizing instruments.

-Follow all HIPPA and OSHA guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Valid state dental hygiene license.

-Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.

-Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques.

-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

-Ability to work harmoniously in a team environment.

Our office follows all CDC guidelines and we are equipped with HEPA air purifiers throughout the office. We follow all safety measures to keep our patients and team safe.
