Coddingtown Dental Care is seeking a full time RDA. We are looking for an outgoing, caring and professional team player for our private practice. We are growing and need a candidate with a can-do attitude that can help us get organized and prepare for growth.
Monday- Thursday 8:30am-5pm
(future for Fridays)
Qualifications and Experience:
-Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
-Experienced Dental Assistant (DA) with at least 2 years of clinical experience
-Must have x-ray certification and have experience with digital x-rays
-Must have valid CPR license, infection control certificate and coronal polishing certificate
-Experience with Dentrix needed, but additional training can be provided on the job
Responsibilities:
-Setting up instrument trays and materials according to scheduled procedure
-Preparing patient for dentist
-Accurately recording medical and dental information
-Assist dentist with digital charting
-Take x-rays, as needed by dentist
-Assist dentist through procedures
-Cleaning and disinfecting treatment rooms after each patient
-Instrument disinfection and sterilization
-Ordering supplies within budget
-Record keeping of all back policies, procedures, safety and OSHA guidelines
-May need to assist with some front office duties, if needed
