Amazing opportunity to assist a young woman with disabilities navigate her daily life and foster her independence. We are seeking a kind, patient, responsible and compassionate person to help her with all activities of daily living - meal prep, light housekeeping and laundry, hygiene including toileting, showering and brushing teeth, administering oral meds once or twice a day depending on length of shift. The position also requires assistance with going out into the community (a car is preferred but not required as public transportation is easily accessible). Community activities include swimming, gym, hiking, movies, concerts and open to your ideas.
My daughter has some behavioral challenges as a result of her disability and requires someone with extreme patience to help her through transitions during the day.
We are looking for a positive and active person for this role. Female preferred given the required assistance for toileting and showering.
