I am seeking a compassionate and experienced live-in caregiver for an elderly family member in Fremont, CA. This opportunity is perfect for a Medical Student, Traveling Nurse, or recently retired nurse looking for a stable and long-term living arrangement.
In exchange for caregiving support, you will receive:
A private room and bathroom
Access to full amenities (Pool, Parking, Kitchen)
A small monthly stipend for personal expenses
Living Arrangement:
This is an All-Female home. There are two female adults living in the home (daughters of the patient), and one will be available for assistance at least 12 hours per day. You will have additional support and coverage when needed. The expected caregiving support averages about 15 hours per week (60 hours per month).
We are seeking someone who is open to a long-term living arrangement. After our elderly family member transitions, you would still be welcome to live in the home on a month-to-month basis, and we can determine the rental price at a later date.
Key Responsibilities:
Assistance with daily activities (dressing, bathing, etc.)
Managing medication schedules
Preparing meals
Companionship and monitoring for safety
Requirements:
Preferred: Certified Homecare Provider, Medical Student, Traveling Nurse, or Retired Nurse
Experience working with elderly individuals in hospice
Reliable, patient, and attentive
Valid driver's license preferred (for errands/appointments)
Willingness to commit to a long-term arrangement or until transition occurs
