Position: Inventory Management Assistant

Primary function of the position:

Perform inventory oversight for designated hospital on the San Francisco Bay Area Peninsula on a weekly basis. Work with and make recommendations to the account about changes to par levels or program elements.

Major elements of the position:

1. Consistently visit designated account at set day and time. Manually count inventory as directed. Compare current

inventory to established par levels, identify outdated products and alert hospital staff for proper action, rotate

inventory and generate suggested re-order reports.

2. Provide total solutions to customers inventory management program needs.

3. Complete inventory forms for hospital and turn into the designated contact for their review.

4. Obtain purchase order numbers in institutions where ordering capability is part of the program. Place orders with

designated inside contact. Provide feedback to the account and the Regional Manager on any back orders on

required items, confirm items to be shipped and delivery timing.

5. Manage time to stay within designated job hour commitment. Manage expenses to stay within budget. Complete

timesheets and expense reports, including correct miles driven weekly for submission.

6. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

1. Associate degree, Medical Technician Certification or higher preferred.

2. Minimum of two years’ sales experience preferred.

3. Minimum of one year’s experience in a hospital operating room preferred.

4. Proficiency in PC applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Numbers and contact management software.

5. Knowledge of Orthopedics/Neurosurgery area a plus.

6. Available to work flexible hours as needed weekdays between 8 am and 1 pm. Usually about 2-3 hours per week per

program.

7. Utilize a professional approach, self-starting mentality and be able to work independently.

8. Able to travel to multiple job sites within a 50-mile radius if needed.

9. A licensed driver with a recent model year vehicle that is well maintained and insured.
