Jackson Orthopedic Foundation’s Healthcare Immersion Program (HIP) is designed to provide college students with a unique, clinical immersion experience in healthcare. The program gives you the opportunity to explore various health fields while shadowing experienced providers as they treat patients.
Whether you’re interested in becoming a nurse, a physician, a physician assistant, or a physical or occupational therapist, this program allows each student the chance to witness the unique aspects of each professional role.
One of our most popular programs, HIP runs each summer. Our 2024 program runs July 8-August 2. Applications are due Friday, June 21
Prerequisites for the program include an interest in a career in the medical field and one completed year of college education.
The cost of the program is $500 per student. Applicants may apply for a program scholarship based on financial need.
