Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Licensed Dental Assistant with X-ray certification to enhance our growing team. This position requires a minimum of one year of experience in dental assisting. The ideal candidate lives locally, embodies a strong service orientation, and has the ability to maintain a professional and clean appearance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists and dental hygienists during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures.
- Serve as an information resource for patients.
- Perform office tasks that often require the use of a computer.
- Communicate with patients and help them feel comfortable and confident about being at our office.
Qualifications:
- Current Dental Assistant license in the state of California.
- X-ray certification.
- At least one year of experience as a dental assistant.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
