Our daughter, Camille, is a 27-year-old young woman who has mobility issues and other medical challenges. She needs help walking, bathing, preparing meals, etc. The ideal goal is to help her live her life with happiness and joy. She has her own apartment in Walnut Creek.
We currently have 3 caregivers who work 4-hour shifts, 3-4 times a week. We are in need of 1-2 more. Shifts are mornings from 10am-2 pm and/or afternoons from 4pm-8pm. We are mainly looking to cover weekend shifts at this time,.
Caregiver
1. Helping her with daily duties in her apartment - she needs to be catheterized in morning and evening.
2. Exercise - walking, stretching, mobility training / physical therapy
3. Peer help - being a buddy to play games with, go to Starbucks, painting, etc
4. taking her to medical appointments
You are: someone who has a caring, empathetic heart and desire to help someone live their best life, despite the challenges. A nursing student or someone with nursing or caregiving experience is required.
