My daughter, Camille, is a 26-year-old young woman who has balance issues and other medical challenges. She needs help walking, bathing, preparing meals, etc. The ideal goal is to help her live her life with happiness and joy.
We currently have 3 caregivers who work 4-hour shifts, 3-4 times a week. We are in need of 1-2 more. Shifts are mornings from 10am-2 pm and/or afternoons from 4pm-8pm.
Caregiver
1. Helping her with daily duties in her apartment - she needs to be catheterized in morning and evening.
2. Exercise - walking, stretching, mobility training / physical therapy
3. Peer help - being a buddy to play games with, go to Starbucks, painting, etc
4. taking her to medical appointments
You are: someone who has a caring, empathetic heart and desire to help someone live their best life, despite the challenges. A nursing student or someone with nursing or caregiving experience is a plus.
Step 1. Reply to ad with information about you (experience, what you are looking for)
Step 2. We will be doing interviews this week on Wednesday and Thursday from 4pm-7pm at Camille's apartment in Walnut Creek. Position starts immediately. Pay is $25-30 per hour.
