Seniors Helping Seniors® Santa Cruz & Gilroy, a new in-home care provider, is seeking mature caregivers who are skilled, willing, and experienced in personal care activities such as bathing, showering, toileting, dressing, grooming, and incontinence care. Other tasks may include companionship, light housework, meal preparation, medication reminders, and transportation. Your comfort and expertise in these areas ensure our seniors receive the comprehensive support they need with respect and privacy. Current and former CNAs and HCAs are highly encouraged to apply.
Not a CNA or HCA and still want to help? We’ll help you to become a registered California Home Care Aide, including free training and guidance through background checks and TB testing.
Qualifications
As a caregiver, you should be:
-A mature adult who is able to relate to the challenges our clients face throughout the aging process. Most of our caregivers are 40 years of age and older.
-Compassionate, reliable, and punctual
-Able to follow detailed instructions to execute our clients’ care plans
-An excellent verbal and written communicator
-Possess a CA drivers license and their own reliable transportation
