Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including dental extractions, restorations, and preventive care.
- Utilize Dentrix software for patient management and medical/dental documentation.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide exceptional patient care.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive measures.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and implement best practices in the office.
- Engage with patients in a friendly and approachable manner to ensure their comfort during visits.
Experience:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Familiarity with dental terminology, dental fabrication processes, and infection control standards is essential.
- Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry trends.
