We’re hiring an Activities Director to join our team at The Chalet, a warm and inviting assisted living care facility in beautiful Montara, CA.
Our current Activities Director has been with us part-time and has done a fantastic job creating joyful experiences for our residents. While we’re sad to see him go as he moves on to a new opportunity, we’re excited to find someone who can step into this full-time role and continue fostering the vibrant, welcoming environment our residents cherish.
As our Activities Director, you’ll create meaningful and engaging experiences for our residents. Your role is all about fostering joy, connection, and a sense of community. Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
Planning fun, interesting, and creative activities.
Interacting with residents to keep them engaged and uplifted.
Building a strong sense of community among residents.
Coordinating with care staff to ensure everyone’s needs are met.
Communicating efficiently and effectively with team members and residents.
Supporting residents’ mental, physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Organizing events and gatherings to bring people together.
Collaborating with volunteers and community organizations to keep things fresh and exciting.
Checking in with residents to monitor their well-being and provide individual attention.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 12:30pm- 6:30pm

Pay: $25 per hour
