The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office is seeking a qualified IT professional to join their team as a Sheriff's Office Network Analyst!
Starting salary up to $63.70/hour ($132,949/year) and a competitive total compensation package!
As the Sheriff's Office Network Analyst, you will perform complex technical duties for the Sheriff's Office Telecommunications Bureau, including evaluating current network systems on varied factors and recommending solutions. This is a high-level network and systems engineering position responsible for managing and maintaining multiple advanced technologies throughout the department.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical staff, will be able to work in a dynamic environment with competing priorities, and will possess:
Expertise extending beyond traditional networking into specialized fields such as network security, radio telecommunications systems, and electronics
The expertise and breadth of knowledge to proactively address security challenges and integrate cutting-edge technologies
A Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network+ Certification
A Federal Communications Commission (FCC) General Radiotelephone Operator License
An extensive understanding of DC power systems, microwave communications, and Land Mobile Radio transmission equipment
The ability to read, understand, and draft circuit schematics and block diagrams
A strong background in radio frequency (RF) theory and maintaining network hardware components
The ability to interact confidently and professionally with team members, stakeholders, and external vendors
Active listening skills, compassion, and a collaborative team approach
Experience in enterprise endpoint management and security
An Associate of Science degree in Computer Science, Networking, or Information Technology
