The Midway, a market inspired, farm to table restaurant, is about to celebrate 2 year in it’s brick and mortar location! Established in 2020 at the Santa Cruz Community Farmer’s Market, The Midway is focused on using the best local ingredients. Chef and owner, Katherine Stern works closely with local farmers and purveyors, creating a rotating menu that highlights the bounty of the season.
The Midway currently serves, lunch, brunch and dinner Thursday-Monday. And we are in need of another cook!
Seeking an experienced line and/or prep cook. This could be a part-time or full-time position. An interest in utilizing local and seasonal produce is preferred. Must be organized and punctual with good communication skills. Should be knowledgeable and comfortable in a commercial kitchen but also understand the importance of asking questions.
