The Midway, a market inspired, farm to table restaurant, has recently celebrated 4 months in it’s brick and mortar location! Established in 2020 at the Santa Cruz Community Farmer’s Market, The Midway is focused on using the best local ingredients. Chef and owner, Katherine Stern works closely with local farmers and purveyors, creating a rotating menu that highlights the bounty of the season.

The Midway currently serves, lunch, brunch and dinner Thursday-Monday. And we are in need of some more staff!

BOH-Seeking an experienced line and/or prep cook. This could be a part-time or full-time position. An interest in utilizing local & seasonal produce is preferred. Must be organized and punctual with good communication skills. Ability to keep a tidy station is important!

FOH Manager/lead server- Seeking an individual that can take on floor management duties. Duties would include guiding other service staff, helping to create service guidelines, wine knowledge/service, end of service reports, phone and/or email communication with guests.

Servers-Seeking additional service staff. Must be available at least 3 shifts a week. Choice of daytime and/or nighttime shifts. Knowledge of local, seasonal ingredients and farms is a plus! Must be able to navigate a menu that changes frequently. Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills preferred.
