Sous Chef for vegan fine dining

Who we are: Millennium Restaurant. We have been in business for 30 years. Our cuisine can be described as elevated globally influenced vegan cuisine with seasonal farm to table sensibilities. We are not tasting menu tweezer cuisine. We run a alacarte menu Tuesday - Thursday. Friday and Saturday we run a 4 course prefix menu with alacarte at the bar. We are dinner only. We do special events every month from a casual taco Thursday to all restaurant wide tomato centric dinners, to smaller wine maker - mushroom / truffle dinners on our patio. We would like to get back to doing brunch 1-2 Sundays a month as well as a Pizza dinner 1 Monday a month.

We are looking for a candidate that can be a rounds person able to run every station, with a strong emphasis in prep/ saucier skills. Candidate needs to be level headed, team player, able to work with, coach and direct kitchen staff. Work well with the front of the house. Be respectful to all employees. Lead by example. Have a working knowledge of vegan cuisine. Have a creative spark able to help create new dishes with the chef. Love plant based cuisine, but being vegan is not a requirement. Can handle administrative tasks : ordering and inventory, recipe development, ect
