Sick of Restaurant work? Sell pasta at Farmers Markets with MVPCo!

California, San francisco bay area 00000 San francisco bay area USA

Vacancy caducado!

Are you passionate about local food but don't want to work in a restaurant or catering? Or maybe you currently do work in a restaurant or bar and want to be involved but are sick of your own personal version of The Bear happening each day? Maybe you're working 5, 6, or even 7 days a week, and need some downtime in your life? Well, if you're a self-starter who can work independently, have a big personality, and enjoy customer service and all things pasta, we may have a great position for you!

Mill Valley Pasta Co. is looking to hire for a full-time position responsible for selling at our farmers markets each week. We currently operate a booth at 7 farmers markets weekly throughout the Bay Area, carrying about 40 of our unique products to each market. For three years, Mill Valley Pasta Co. has been selling at farmers markets as the only dried pasta maker in the Bay Area, with a focus on local and organic ingredients as much as possible. Work-weeks would be Thursday to Sunday, so it's a 4-day work week for you! You're almost guaranteed overtime with the length of the shifts, and shorter day on Fridays, so it's a pretty unique spot.

All farmers markets in our lineups currently operate during the morning hours and stretch into early afternoon. Market shifts start at our shop in San Rafael as early as 5:30 am or as late as 6:30 am, and are usually completed by 4:30 pm at latest.
