This role begins as a hybrid position, where you’ll start by performing server duties while also taking on supervisory responsibilities. Over time, you’ll transition into full management, with opportunities to grow into a leadership role and ultimately work towards restaurant ownership.

Job Description: The Assistant Restaurant Manager role starts with a unique combination of serving and supervising. You’ll begin by providing excellent service to guests as a server, while also taking on a supervisory role to ensure that day-to-day operations run smoothly. You will oversee staff, assist with training, and ensure that service standards are met. As you gain experience, you’ll transition into a full management position, where you will take on additional responsibilities such as overseeing restaurant operations, managing large events, expanding catering services, and handling administrative duties. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to learn all aspects of the business and has long-term goals of managing or owning a restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

Server & Supervisor Hybrid Role: Provide top-tier service to guests while supervising the floor, ensuring staff follow service protocols and maintain a high level of performance.

Team Leadership: Assist in managing the front-of-house staff, including training new employees, providing feedback, and handling any operational challenges.

Management Development: Transition into full management, overseeing daily restaurant operations, monitoring service quality, and ensuring everything runs efficiently.

Business Growth: Help book large parties and events, increase catering services, and identify opportunities to grow the business.

Administrative Tasks: Handle money management, assist in menu design, manage inventory, and oversee other administrative responsibilities as needed.

Mentorship: Work closely with leadership to learn the ins and outs of restaurant management, with a focus on developing skills for potential ownership or senior management roles.
