Originally established in 1975 in San Francisco’s Inner Richmond district, Eats has built and maintained a loyal and enduring generational following as a beloved breakfast and lunch restaurant for the local community and Bay Area at large.
Under new Chef and Owner, Simon Bryant, the heart of our new vision is a locally and seasonally sourced, neighborhood restaurant serving contemporary comfort food for breakfast and lunch, 6 days a week Wednesday - Monday 8am-2pm. Fresh impeccable produce, warm down-home hospitality, simple, satisfying, and wildly delicious dishes prepared with thoughtful culinary technique come together to create this New Diner experience.

We are looking for a superstar
Busser/Runner/Back Waiter
Ideal candidates have:
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively within a fast-paced team environment
- A genuine sense of warmth and hospitality
- A sincere desire to provide guests with the best possible service and experience
- Interest, curiosity, and pride in local, seasonal, and sustainable products
- Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
- Effective time management
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Clear communication skills
- Clean and organized
- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- At least 1 year working in a fast-paced, high quality dining restaurant
- Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Specific job requirements:
- Must speak some english comfortably - interacting with guests, answering questions, and feeling comfortable doing so is necessary.
- Must be available to work both Saturdays and Sundays (ideally with the possibility of Monday and Friday as well)
- Shifts are 7am-2pm or 8am-3pm
- Must be dependable, responsible, and on time - We are a breakfast restaurant. Shifts start early. No hangovers, no sleeping in, no alarms not going off…
Specific job responsibilities include:
- Assist servers to attend to guest’s needs : refill water and coffee, greet and seat guests, etc…
- Run food to tables
- Bus tables of dishes and glassware
- Reset tables between turns
- Maintain bus stations, take dishes to dishpit
- Help servers set up and take down restaurant and outside tables
- Take out trash / break down bus stations
Compensation:
$21/hour + tips
(We are a pooled house!)
