Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Morning Baker for our commissary on Sutter Street. This role is central to our operation, responsible for the early morning preparation and baking of our renowned viennoiseries and other baked goods, ensuring they are fresh and of the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Early morning baking of various viennoiseries and other baked goods.
Managing the proofing process to ensure product quality.
Coordinating and dispatching products according to store orders.
Maintaining a clean and organized baking area.
Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
Collaborating with the team to innovate and improve baking processes.
Qualifications:
Experience in a professional baking or pastry environment is recommended but not mandatory.
Knowledge of traditional French baking techniques is a plus.
Ability to work early morning shifts.
Must be able to stand for extended periods.
Willingness to work on weekends and holidays.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently.
