About Us
We're a small local Ice Cream shop known for our exceptionally smooth, slow-churned ice creams made from 100% grass-fed, organic dairy from Petaluma family farms, as well as our creamy coconut-based vegan sorbets. We handpick seasonal produce from local farms and source our teas directly from family farms in Japan and across Asia.
Position Overview
We're seeking a passionate and friendly Ice Cream Server to join our very small team for closing shift (6:00PM-11:45PM). As the face of Garden Creamery, you'll create memorable experiences for our customers while serving our artisanal, small-batch ice creams and sorbets.
Responsibilities
- Warmly greet customers and provide exceptional service
- Share your knowledge about our unique flavors, ingredients, and production process
- Scoop and serve ice cream, creating beautiful presentations
- Operate the POS system
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment
- Restock supplies and ice cream flavors as needed
Requirements
- Genuine enthusiasm for ice cream and high-quality food
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak hours
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and scoop ice cream
