We have an awesome opening for a Front of House position at our Cafe located in Palo Alto. The hours for the position are Monday thru Friday 7am - 1pm.
Founded in 2009, Smashing Dishes/Tony Caters is a dynamic, well-regarded off-site catering company that produces events in the South Bay and all around the greater Bay Area. We also have an additional cafe located inside The Tech Interactive Museum in downtown San Jose.

Core Cashier Responsibilities:
-Greet customers with a friendly, professional attitude
-Operate a variety of machines, tools, and equipment including espresso machine
-Calculate order totals, process card and cash payments
-Stock all grab n go items, salad bars, food items in a timely and efficient manner
-Maintain cleanliness of counters, work areas and overall cafe
-Organize and maintain inventory, including daily waste logs
-Complete daily cafe checklist of tasks
-Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
-Friendly and upbeat attitude is a must!
-Responsible, accountable and task-oriented
-Barista experience a plus
-Must be able to speak and understand English, bilingual in Spanish a plus
-Must be able to work continuously while standing for long periods of time
-Must be able to lift, pull and push materials/products to complete assigned job tasks
-Qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of this position satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation
