7 Adams, helmed by husband-and-wife chef duo David Fisher and Serena Chow Fisher, is the latest concept from the Hi Neighbor Hospitality Group. It offers a culinary journey that transforms the familiar into uniquely crafted and gorgeously presented dishes. A deeply personal project, the restaurant honors the spaces where David’s desire to cook first took hold, its name referencing his childhood home in Upstate New York. David's cooking style is characterized by simplicity, precise execution, elegant plating, and an element of surprise achieved through unexpected textures and hidden elements. The local product that initially drew David to San Francisco has remained a cornerstone of his culinary approach, first at Marlena, the Michelin-starred restaurant that he and Serena opened in 2020, and now at 7 Adams, opening in 2023. Drawing on local produce and capturing nuanced seasonal moments, 7 Adams also celebrates Serena’s roots in Northern California.
Job Description:
We are seeking a host with experience in a fine dining restaurant, and preferably with experience using RESY reservation platform. The host is responsible for greeting and seating guests, maintaining menus and cleanliness of entryway and signage, coordinating seating arrangements and making sure the timing and flow of the evening are maintained.
Effective communication, excellent customer service, and organizational skills are crucial for success in this role. The host is a dynamic role as they are also expected to be a lending hand and support the floor staff as needed – marking tables, pouring water, clearing and resetting tables, assisting with food running, and working as a team to help create an impressive guest experience on all levels.
