Hi Neighbor Hospitality (The Vault Steakhouse, The Vault Garden, Trestle, Mama Oakland, The Madrigal, Jack and Remi Ice Cream) has partnered with Michelin Starred Chefs, David and Serena Fisher, in this new neighborhood restaurant off Fillmore, 7 Adams. Opened in November 2023, the restaurant has received One Michelin Star in August 2024, one of the 10 Best New Restaurants in America by Robb Reports, as well as SF's Best new restaurants this past year from Eater and SF Chronicle.

7 Adams, helmed by husband-and-wife chef duo David Fisher and Serena Chow Fisher, is the latest concept from the Hi Neighbor Hospitality Group. It offers a culinary journey that transforms the familiar into uniquely crafted and gorgeously presented dishes. A deeply personal project, the restaurant honors the spaces where David’s desire to cook first took hold, its name referencing his childhood home in Upstate New York. David's cooking style is characterized by simplicity, precise execution, elegant plating, and an element of surprise achieved through unexpected textures and hidden elements. The local product that initially drew David to San Francisco has remained a cornerstone of his culinary approach, first at Marlena, the Michelin-starred restaurant that he and Serena opened in 2020, and now at 7 Adams, opening in 2023. Drawing on local produce and capturing nuanced seasonal moments, 7 Adams also celebrates Serena’s roots in Northern California.
Chef Owner Serena Chow Fisher has worked pastry in some of the best kitchens in the world such as Eleven Madison Park and offers her own unique interpretations of classic desserts. She was named Esquire's best new pastry chef in 2021 and strives to deliver an experience which she defines as "precise, not pretentious".
We are seeking a full time experienced PASTRY COOK who is focused on technique, attention to detail and a passion for the kitchen. This role will be on the line, plating and executing service while also being responsible for preparation of station set up, chopping and slicing ingredients for mis en place, prepping bread rolls and other pastry projects.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Must possess a professional, positive behavior with good communication skills
Must demonstrate a calm and composed demeanor while working in a fast paced, open kitchen environment
Excellent hygiene and grooming are requirements for this position, must also maintain a neat appearance
Minimum of 3-5 years pastry experience is preferred
Must be able to work independently with limited direct supervision
Efficiency and organization are crucial, as well as listening attentively
Must be able to stand for periods of up to four (4) hours in length. Must be able to reach, bend, kneel and frequently lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
