Firehouse Coffee & Tea is looking for a new Manager to run the day to day operations in our Sausalito location. We are in need of a confident and self sufficient problem solver who is also a vet behind the bar. Our ideal candidate has had at least 2+ years of running a coffee shop and who believes in our core beliefs or Community, Hospitality, and Quality.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of service.
- Manage and train staff, including baristas and counter staff.
- Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently.
- Manage scheduling, payroll, and performance reviews for staff.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in a coffee shop or food service environment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation and brewing techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic accounting software.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field (preferred).
