Job Summary:

As a Server, you are the face of our restaurant, creating memorable dining experiences by providing warm, attentive service and guiding guests through our seasonal, California-inspired menu. You’ll embody our commitment to hospitality, ensuring each guest feels at home while maintaining the efficiency and professionalism that defines our service.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly, set the tone for their experience, and provide knowledgeable, thoughtful recommendations.
Guide guests through our menu, including food, wine, and craft cocktails, while making personalized suggestions.
Accurately take and enter orders into the POS system and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked service station and dining area.
Anticipate guest needs and respond proactively to ensure an exceptional dining experience.
Work collaboratively with bartenders, hosts, and kitchen staff to provide seamless service.
Uphold Fifty Vara’s standards for hospitality, professionalism, and cleanliness.
Handle guest concerns with grace and problem-solving skills, ensuring a positive resolution.
Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines, including responsible alcohol service.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous serving experience in a high-volume, hospitality-driven restaurant preferred.
A passion for great food, beverages, and creating connections with guests.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
Knowledge of wine, cocktails, and California cuisine is a plus (training provided).
Must be able to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
