Line Cook – $19/hr + Tips | Dinner Shifts (Fri–Sun) Marica Restaurant, a family-owned casual fine dining restaurant in Oakland, is hiring a skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This is a hands-on role working side by side with our Chef in a small but very busy restaurant. We’re looking for passionate, detail-oriented cooks who love food, can handle multiple stations, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule & Hours:
Dinner shifts only – no lunch service 3:00pm – Closing (around 10:00pm) Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
Requirements:
Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment (line cook or similar role preferred) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to stay calm under pressure and multitask effectively Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Responsibilities:
Daily prep and station setup Assist Chef with daily specials and desserts Work closely with the Chef on the line during service Manage inventory and support ordering as needed Assist with kitchen cleanup and closing duties
Compensation:
$19 per hour + tips
