DISTRICT in downtown Oakland is looking for an experienced and skilled Line Cook to join the team with potential to eventually step into a Lead Line Cook position to assist the chef in daily operations. Availability to work Sunday brunch is a must.
There is also a dishwasher/prep position available.
We are an upscale full service restaurant and bar serving globally inspired ingredient focussed small plates, handcrafted pizza and unique takes on traditional bar food.
Hours of operation are :
Monday -Thursday 4:00p - 9:00p
Friday 4:00p - 12:00a - Saturday 5:00 -12:00a
Sunday 11:00a - 3:00p
The shifts start 1 - 1.5 hours before opening and the candidate must always be punctual for their shift's scheduled time.
The candidate must also display integrity of their craft and respect toward their coworkers & place of work.
