Iveta is a family business that has been serving the Santa Cruz community since 1999 at our restaurants on the Westside, the UCSC campus and our new Downtown location at 545 Pacific Ave.
Our Downtown restaurant is a cozy neighborhood place with a casual vibe, serving dinner and weekend brunch – the perfect spot for unwinding after work, a casual dinner, a late night glass of wine and dessert, or an al fresco weekend brunch on our patio.
With the recent growth of our Downtown business we’re looking to fill the following positions:
LINE COOKS
Breakfast Cook for our weekend brunch with experience making traditional breakfast entrees and the ability to offer creative input on new menu items.
Line Cook for our daily dinner service with experience in a busy casual or fine dining restaurant. Knowledge of Italian food is preferred.
BUSSERS
Experienced Bussers to support our waitstaff and set up our dining area, serve water and re-filll beverages, remove dirty dishes and replenish utensils, clean and reset tables after guests leave and assist with serving food, as needed.
HOSTESS
Weekend Hostess – an individual with a great personality and outstanding customer service skills who will set the tone for the overall customer experience. Duties include taking reservations, greeting customers, maintaining a waiting list, handling customer special needs and maintaining an orderly dining room work flow.
REQUIREMENTS
We have a small crew and a casual vibe so we expect professionalism and a solid work ethic from everyone – team players who are reliable, responsible and can self-manage their time.
COMPENSATION
We offer a competitive hourly wage, based upon experience, plus tips, flexible schedules and food discounts.
