A local community spot seeks experienced and enthusiastic team minded individuals for evening and weekend brunch and dinner shifts. Must have some flexibility to switch with our other staff.
We are looking to hire someone to be a warm and welcoming Host who will be the first face and personality our guests interact with, this role is very important to our culture.
The host will greet and seat guests, utilize OpenTable reservation system to seat the dining room with pacing in mind (welcome the puzzle!)
Enter phone-in take out orders with accuracy and process payments
Utilize professional phone etiquette
Meticulously clear tables promptly after guests leave, ensuring a clean and welcoming table setting.
Assist in setting tables, refilling water glasses, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area and restrooms.
Run drinks and food when able.
Support a smooth service flow filling in as needed.
Be attentive to guests' needs and assist in creating a positive dining experience.
We are also looking for a Food Expeditor/Server. This role should be able to:
Communicate clearly and effectively with the back of house and front of house to ensure accurate and prompt delivery of food to guests
Package to go orders
Quality check food before delivery
Take orders, upsell, be able to learn allergens and consider food limitations and to communicate this information to guests
when not busy, help bus and reset tables
help host
This would be a rotating serving and expo/running shift
Note: No weekday lunch shifts available, we are only open for brunch on Saturday & Sunday. Closed Mondays and Sunday nights.
