Jackie’s Supper Club is a premium meal delivery service in the San Francisco Bay Area. We are looking for a cook to join us in our work.

Location: Our kitchen is located in San Francisco, CA at 103 Horne Ave, and we will be moving to 396 Harrison St later this year (October / November).

This is an unique opportunity to work with high quality ingredients, abundant vegetables, and work in a small business environment. This role will be working with our back of house team, executing different recipes every week.

We cook a variety of different cuisines every week, so you’ll get a chance to make and learn a different techniques and recipes. Each week, our menu is composed of 6 different menu items, 4 of which are meat (1 fish, 2 chicken, and 1 beef / pork dish), and 2 are fully vegetarian. Each meal usually also includes a sauce, a grain, and 2-3 different vegetables. Our ideal candidate is passionate about food, knows their way around a kitchen, self motivated, and interested in reading recipes before showing up to start the day. We aren’t a traditional kitchen, but we do love food and are looking for similar minded people to join our team.

Description:

20 - 25 hours / week

Execute variety of different recipes each week, including braises, stir fries, soups, dressings, sauces, and roasting.

Pay attention to detail and maintain cleanliness

Wash dishes quickly and effectively as needed

Work collaboratively in a team environment

1-3 years of kitchen experience

Detail-oriented and proactive in problem-solving

Takes notes and remembers how things are done

Professional and can follow instructions with a positive attitude

Good at managing time and physical space in a busy kitchen

Able to lift 25 lbs

Schedule:

Thursday 9 am - 4:30 pm

Fridays 8 am - 4:30 pm

Saturday 8 am - 4:30 pm

Though this is a part-time role, this can become a full time position in 2-3 months
