Hi Neighbor Group (Trestle, Vault Garden, Vault Steakhouse, Mama Oakland, 7 Adams) is seeking a Busser/Food Runner/Barback at our Hayes Valley cocktail bar and restaurant, The Madrigal, is located at 100 Van Ness, just steps from the Opera House, SF Jazz Center and Davies Symphony Hall. Whether it’s a pre-theater dinner, date night, happy hour with a group or a late night drink with snacks, this Hayes Valley hot spot is going to be the perfect place. A colorful addition to the neighborhood in December 2021, the space will amaze you with its beautiful speckled floor, unique furniture, indoor greenery and floor to ceiling windows that add natural light and ambience to this sleek city space.

Qualifications:

Needs to be hardworking and detailed oriented

AT LEAST 2 years in fast-paced serving/bartending/food running experience preferred

Able to multi task, enjoy working with a small team and wear multiple hats throughout the shift

Must be able to carry at least 50 lbs as they will be moving boxes/deliveries and Beer Kegs

Must be able to communicate effectively with kitchen and front of house team and guests

Requirements:

Tuesday - Saturday, flexible late night PM hours preferred, shifts are approximately 4pm-12pm

Competitive Pay and Health Insurance Benefits included for full time

Must be able to obtain a valid food handlers, RBS certification and sexual harassment training
