Equal parts Chef and Raconteur, the Grill Masters have cooked and served great rotisserie foods from our Farmer’s Market-centric Food Trucks for 20 years. As the first Rotisserie Food Truck in America, we have customers the world over who stop by for their Mary’s chicken for family dinner, Heritage spareribs for lunch, or a Porchetta sandwich while visiting the San Francisco Ferry Plaza. We’re seeking people to join our team who have a similar passion for food and Customer Service, and know how to operate independently, with a drive to succeed and integrity in whatever they do.
Job Overview
The Grill Master:
- Is our face to the public, managing all aspects of the truck at the point of sale and interacting with customers.
- Is a salesperson, selling the product to customers, answering questions, and collecting payment.
- Is a chef, cooking chicken to the quality standards laid out in the Roli Roti System.
- Constantly manages the quantity of chicken prepared to ensure that there is always an appropriate amount of chicken ready for sale as well as cooking for future sales.
- Prepares the truck for sales, loads all necessary materials and equipment, and fills out all of the necessary paperwork.
- Assumes responsibility for the truck, driving it to the markets and special events, cleaning it after each market or event, and reporting any equipment problems immediately.
Job Requirements
Lift up to 50 pounds
Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
Use carts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
Weekend and evening shifts.
What’s Available
Competitive wage paid bi-weekly, with overtime for more than 40 hours.

Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines. Must have a valid US Driver License.
