We are hiring for full time line cook BOH team member now

Will work on Frying Station or Grill station to start with

We are:

- Daily changed Menu

- Upscale casual craft Asian food featuring Taiwanese cuisine (trending now)

- Kitchen team is a group of 68 + FOH team 67 ppl, we love our food craft and we love our career and what we do

[GTE line cook : Work Hours, and job responsibility]

Work hours WED-SAT 2:0010:30 pm. 2:004:00 prep, 4:309:30 line, 9:3010:30 clean and finish

Our menu change daily, we prefer full time team members . We can start with part-time to see how it goes, if you would like to start part-time, you MUST be available FRI and Sat 3:309:30 PM otherwise won't work

You will start from either frying station or grill station. You need to be able to start the work immediately for frying or for grill.

in the future, we have other station for you to rotate to: pan-frying, cold app, noodle station

We will pay with hourly rate , this position will start $18$22 based on your experience and immediate contribution, , with additional pooled tips(currently $8$12 per hour). Hourly rate can be reviewed again after working 2 months full time

[JOB REQUIREMENT and qualifications]

MUST have professional kitchen experiences 1+ Years

We will prefer you to have kitchen experiences with indie(not chained) restaurant or chef-driven type of the restaurant . or eager to work for chef-driven restaurant . Or you are very eager to learn in this type of the environment.

Able to / comfortable to work in open kitchen

We will prioritize interviewing candidates with previous working experience with Fryer and Grill, and/or work in indie restaurant before.

- if you previously work in Japanese restaurant before (Taiwanese food's flavor sensibility it closer to Japanese cuisine)

- if you previous work in chef-driven indie restaurant before (you used to the kitchen environment of seasonal driven, and attention to detail, as well as the rotating menu

- if you previous work in Frying and Grill station with years of experiences

- if you are passionate on working in a indie restaurant

- we are a establish business for 4 years, this location is 1 year old, with existing community customer base and followers

We have a strong kitchen core team now, you need to have at least 1 year professional kitchen experience. need to have professional kitchen working knowledge, basic knife skill and speed. otherwise it won't be able to catchup.

Don't know Taiwanese food? don't worry. this almost does not exist in market. Please have basic understanding about Asian food, familiar with Japanese cuisine is a big plus. Taiwanese food sensibility is similar to Japanese food.
