Server Job Description:
A Server is responsible for serving food and beverages to members at various venues or events. General duties include greeting members, and providing service related to food and beverage service.
Qualifications and requirements:
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with all staff and Club members.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Assist with the setup and clearing of the service area(s).
Relay food and beverage orders.
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and be aware of sanitary practices.
Anticipate member and guest needs while exceeding service expectations.
Relay important information about orders, allergies, and special requests.
Present in a professional appearance and mannerisms.
Have a valid Food Handlers Certificate.
Bartending skills are highly valued and will be taught to you if you are willing to learn.

Full-Time Eligible Benefits:
Vacation
Regular full-time employees accrue paid vacations in accordance with the following policy:
0–6 months no accrual
6 months–1 year 5 days
2–5 years 10 days per year
6–10 years 15 days per year
11 years and thereafter 20 days per year

SFGC provides a comprehensive medical insurance plan for eligible employees and their dependents. Medical, Dental and Vision coverage is provided by the Club, effective the first of the month following 30 days of full-time employment.

Golf Course Privileges
SFGC staff are allowed to play the course on Monday only. The course is open for Member use only on every other day of the week. You will be required to understand the etiquette and customs of golf.
