Position Overview:

As a Front of House team member in our esteemed fine dining restaurant, you will play a crucial role in executing service standards set forth by the Ritual Team and visiting Chef. Your primary goal is to ensure an exceptional dining experience for our discerning guests in a multicultural setting. Your guidance with the other service member will also be crucial. Attention to detail, hopitality and commitment to service excellence will contribute to the success of our fine dining establishment, where diverse perspectives are celebrated.

Key Responsibilities:

Service:

Inspire and lead the service team, promoting an inclusive culture with a keen understanding of diverse cultural nuances.

Coordinate service flow for a seamless dining experience across diverse guest backgrounds.

Guest Engagement:

Welcome guests warmly and professionally, acknowledging and respecting cultural diversity.

Address guest inquiries, requests, and preferences with detailed attention and a personalized touch transcending cultural boundaries.

Table Management:

Optimize seating arrangements with sensitivity to diverse cultural preferences.

Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff for well-timed, accommodating meal service.

Menu Knowledge:

Demonstrate a deep understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation, and cultural considerations.

Communicate menu details and recommendations with cultural awareness and enthusiasm.

Wine and Beverage Service:

Ensure proper wine service, respecting cultural traditions in decanting, pouring, and presentation.

Quality Control:

Regularly inspect the dining area for cleanliness and adherence to service standards, recognizing cultural aesthetics.

Monitor food and beverage presentation with sensitivity to cultural expectations.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams for coordinated dish and beverage delivery, fostering a multicultural environment.

Effectively communicate within the team, embracing and celebrating diversity.

Problem Resolution:

Address guest concerns professionally, considering cultural nuances for swift solutions.

Report operational issues to management, highlighting multicultural perspectives for resolution.

Training and Development:

Train new staff on fine dining standards, etiquette, and multicultural awareness.

Provide ongoing coaching to enhance service team skills, promoting a diverse and inclusive service approach.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($25.00) plus tips
